Resumo: Hypertensive disorders in pregnancy represent a condition of great relevance in obstetrics, being one of the main causes of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality worldwide. These complications range from gestational hypertension, pre-eclampsia to eclampsia, each with distinct characteristics and potential adverse impact on the health of the pregnant woman and the fetus. Therefore, this study aims to carry out an integrative review of the literature on hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, in order to understand their characteristics, risk factors, diagnosis, clinical management and impact on maternal-fetal health. To carry out this integrative review, electronic databases were consulted, such as PubMed, Scopus, Lilacs and Google Scholar, using the following descriptors: "hypertensive disorders in pregnancy", "gestational hypertension", "pre-eclampsia", "eclampsia", "risk factors" and "clinical management". Studies published in the last ten years, written in Portuguese, Spanish or English, were included in order to cover the most recent evidence related to these conditions. Hypertensive disorders in pregnancy are a significant maternal and fetal health concern. This integrative literature review allowed for a comprehensive analysis of these conditions, identifying risk factors, clinical characteristics, diagnostic methods, and recommended clinical management strategies. Understanding these disorders is essential to improve prevention, early diagnosis and treatment, with the aim of reducing maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality associated with these complications.

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-10-05info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/63410.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n5p337-342Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 337-342Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 337-342Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 5 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 337-3422674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/634/759Copyright (c) 2023 Rafaela Sousa da Silva, Letícia Abrão Querino, Luana Cavassana Pereira, Laila Santos Sabino, Vinicius Ensslin Dutrahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSilva, Rafaela Sousa dados Santos, Letícia Abrão QuerinoPereira, Luana CavassanaSabino, Laila SantosDutra, Vinicius Ensslin2023-10-05T17:01:39Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/634Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-10-05T17:01:39Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
