The aim of this study was to describe the endodontic retreatment of a maxillary premolar with two root canals using the Easy ProDesign Logic RT system. In the clinical examination, the presence of a fistula was observed and, therefore, an accessory cone of gutta-percha FF was introduced in it in order to carry out radiographic tracking. After radiographic examination, diffuse periapical bone destruction was noticed, suggesting chronic dentoalveolar abscess. The retreatment preparation was carried out according to the protocol described by the Easy ProDesign Logic RT system and root canal obturation was performed in the same session using the single cone technique (Bassi®). The cones were cut with a hot Paiva condenser and active vertical condensation with a cold Paiva condenser. After obturation, the gutta-percha residues present in the pulp chamber were removed with cotton and 70% alcohol and a provisional restoration was performed with glass ionomer (Riva Light Cure, SDI® – Victoria, Australia).
