Resumo: The constant advancement of digital technology and the widespread use of portable devices raise growing concerns about their impacts on ocular health. This narrative review explores the influence of digital technology on visual habits and its relation to ocular health. It examines gaps in research regarding ocular health associated with the use of portable devices, the impact of digital technology on ocular image evolution, the accuracy of mobile applications for visual acuity measurement, and the usability of health interventions for HIV patients. Findings highlight the need for a better understanding of ocular discomfort symptoms related to portable device use, the revolutionary potential of artificial intelligence in ocular image analysis, and the importance of a multifaceted approach in assessing the usability of health interventions.

Specialized Dentistry Group2024-04-16info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/195010.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n4p1609-1620Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 4 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3 - IMPACT FACTOR SJIF 5.807; 1609-1620Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 4 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3 - FATOR DE IMPACTO SJIF 5.807; 1609-1620Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 4 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3 - FATOR DE IMPACTO SJIF 5.807; 1609-16202674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1950/2162Copyright (c) 2024 Altielly Montes Machado, Larissa Santos Luna, Amanda Costa de Almeida, Humberto Faria Nogueira da Silva, Pedro Henrique de Oliveira Langonihttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMachado, Altielly MontesLuna, Larissa SantosAlmeida, Amanda Costa deSilva, Humberto Faria Nogueira daFreitas, Pedro Henrique de Oliveira Langoni Ribeiro2024-04-18T11:26:22Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1950Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-04-18T11:26:22Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
