Resumo: | Cervical cancer is the fourth most common malignancy in women, with an estimated worldwide incidence of 595,414 new cases and mortality of 311,365 women in 2018. This is a cross-sectional descriptive study, with a documentary approach, through secondary data collected in the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System. In short, it can be summarized that the profile of the most affected pediatric population was women between 40 and 49 years old, from the Southeast region and of brown ethnicity, and the year of greatest involvement was 2022. With this, it is possible to point out hospitalizations for Malignant Neoplasia of the Cervix, in Brazilian women, as a public health problem that deserves the attention of the government and Brazilian society in general. |
