Resumo:   Pediatric endocrinology is a vital area of medicine that requires constant updating and research. By studying hormonal disorders in childhood and pediatric endocrinology, we can hope to improve the quality of life and care of children affected by these disorders. The aim of this study was to look at the latest updates on hormonal disorders in childhood, with a focus on pediatric endocrinology. To this end, a systematic literature review was carried out, selecting scientific studies published between 2019 and 2024, available in the Scielo, Medline and Lilacs databases. After analyzing the results, the main conclusion is that recent advances in genetic research have provided a deeper understanding of the molecular basis of pediatric hormonal disorders, such as Kallmann syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome, paving the way for more targeted and effective therapies in the future.

Specialized Dentistry Group2024-04-14info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/193910.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n4p1444-1458Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 4 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3 - IMPACT FACTOR SJIF 5.807; 1444-1458Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 4 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3 - FATOR DE IMPACTO SJIF 5.807; 1444-1458Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 4 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3 - FATOR DE IMPACTO SJIF 5.807; 1444-14582674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1939/2142Copyright (c) 2024 Giovanna Nunes Vrech Coelho , João Vitor Godinho Simionato, Pedro Henrique dos Santos Carvalho , Reginaldo Lucas Bontempo , Renato Amorim Pereira De Carvalho Moura , Diogo José Fonseca Monteiro Pinto , Larissa Manhaes Chagas Mota , Bruna Menezes Martins, Maria Paula Barcelos Hundertmark Leal , Beatriz Rodrigues Polita , Eduarda Guedes Pereira de Azevedo Mano , Amanda Martins Carneiro , Karina Araújo Martins da Costa , Henrique Correia Moreira , Edenizar Gomes de Freitas , Júlia Nascimento Engleitner, Thayane Dias Fernandes , Juliana Pinho Miguez , Vanilson Pires Cerqueira Junior , Teresa Teixeira Ferreira Neta , Júlio César Machado do Nascimento , Rogério Lopes de Moura Fé Filho, Narjara Samya Rodrigues Pereira , Brenda Santana Araujo Giácomo , Izadora Carneiro Vieira , Davi Bayma Reis https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCoelho , Giovanna Nunes VrechSimionato, João Vitor GodinhoCarvalho , Pedro Henrique dos SantosBontempo , Reginaldo LucasMoura , Renato Amorim Pereira De CarvalhoPinto , Diogo José Fonseca MonteiroMota , Larissa Manhaes ChagasMartins, Bruna MenezesLeal , Maria Paula Barcelos HundertmarkPolita , Beatriz RodriguesMano , Eduarda Guedes Pereira de AzevedoCarneiro , Amanda MartinsCosta , Karina Araújo Martins daMoreira , Henrique CorreiaFreitas , Edenizar Gomes deEngleitner, Júlia NascimentoFernandes , Thayane DiasMiguez , Juliana PinhoJunior , Vanilson Pires Cerqueira Neta , Teresa Teixeira FerreiraNascimento , Júlio César Machado doFilho, Rogério Lopes de Moura FéPereira , Narjara Samya RodriguesGiácomo , Brenda Santana AraujoVieira , Izadora CarneiroReis , Davi Bayma2024-04-14T19:59:53Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1939Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-04-14T19:59:53Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
