Resumo: The main purpose of dental implants is to restore chewing and other functions of the teeth, as well as the aesthetic appearance of patients using dental implants and dental prosthetics. However, the lack of bone makes this recovery difficult. The most important aspects of dental implant surgery are the amount of bone that can be created and the treatment the patient is undergoing. There is not enough bone to allow safe treatment, and bone deficiency can cause toothache, infection, loss of tooth material and tooth extraction, therefore dental implants and bone grafts are widely used. Methods and Depending on the patient's problem and symptoms, there are many popular methods for obtaining horizontal and vertical vision. The Khoury technique of bone grafting is a technique developed to extend the useful life and achieve a long-lasting dental implant that uses the density of the alveolar bone to obtain better results. Autogenous bone has the advantage of partial control.

Specialized Dentistry Group2024-02-07info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/142910.36557/2674-8169.2024v6n2p712-723Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 No. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 712-723Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 6 Núm. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 712-723Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 6 n. 2 (2024): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 712-7232674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/1429/1610Copyright (c) 2024 Antônio Fabrício Alves Ferreira , Victor Diogo da Silva Quaresma , Enzo Giordanno de Lima e Paula , Nathália Gavioli Belato , Anderson Cesar Costa Santos , Maria Mariana Santos , Mabel Martins Lima , Ângelo Gaia Sousa , Dáffyne Kelly Silva Costa Oliveira , Déborah Rocha Seixas https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFerreira , Antônio Fabrício AlvesQuaresma , Victor Diogo da SilvaPaula , Enzo Giordanno de Lima e Belato , Nathália GavioliSantos , Anderson Cesar Costa Santos , Maria MarianaLima , Mabel MartinsSousa , Ângelo GaiaOliveira , Dáffyne Kelly Silva CostaSeixas , Déborah Rocha2024-02-07T18:38:17Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/1429Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2024-02-07T18:38:17Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
