Resumo: Congenital heart disease (CC) is a malformation in the structure or function of the heart from birth, it is the result of an alteration in the embryonic development of the heart structure. It may correspond to clinical signs such as cardiac arrhythmias, tachypnea, cyanosis, etc. Despite being considered unknown, genetic studies still based on investigation allowed its origin to be modified genetic material. Currently, there has been an increase in the number of people with systemic diseases who have had dental treatment. In Brazil, in the 1990s, the mortality rate of patients with heart disease was 30%, while currently this figure has grown to 34%. This increase has the stimulus to seek dental care as possible so that there is better care for these patients and that it is with greater safety.

Specialized Dentistry Group2023-06-27info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/32810.36557/2674-8169.2023v5n3p824-844Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 No. 3 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 824-844Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; Vol. 5 Núm. 3 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 824-844Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences ; v. 5 n. 3 (2023): BJIHS QUALIS B3; 824-8442674-8169reponame:Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciencesinstname:Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)instacron:GOEporhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/article/view/328/408Copyright (c) 2023 Beatriz Péres Moreira, Gabrielle Pfaltgraff , Thamires Lourenço Monteiro, Ednaldo José da Silvahttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessMoreira, Beatriz PéresPfaltgraff , GabrielleMonteiro, Thamires Lourençoda Silva, Ednaldo José2023-06-27T14:24:10Zoai:ojs.bjihs.emnuvens.com.br:article/328Revistahttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihsONGhttps://bjihs.emnuvens.com.br/bjihs/oaijournal.bjihs@periodicosbrasil.com.br2674-81692674-8169opendoar:2023-06-27T14:24:10Brazilian Journal of Implantology and Health Sciences - Grupo de Odontologia Especializada (GOE)false
