ResumoO artigo almeja discutir sobre os elementos presentes na estética glauberiana dialogando com as suas representações da sociedade. Nesse sentido, se faz necessário demonstrar alguns aspectos do cinema de Glauber Rocha, a exemplo do caráter anti-industrial e das influências referentes ao seu pensamento cinematográfico. Será empregada a análise em torno da expressão artística, política e cultural do cineasta, assim como da sua forma de realização fílmica e dos seus desdobramentos. Dessa maneira, o texto busca elaborar um panorama a respeito da cinematografia do país demonstrando a ruptura exercida pela estética do diretor e por sua leitura do mundo objetivo. Para isso, é colocado em evidência o cenário da produção cultural brasileira e a sua situação mercadológica. Portanto, o estudo emprega um diálogo com as manifestações apresentadas esteticamente entre a obra do artista e a sua representação das condições materiais. Palavras-chave: Estética. Cinematografia. AbstractThe article aims to discuss the elements present in the Glauberian aesthetics in dialogue with their representations of society. In this sense, it is necessary to demonstrate some aspects of the cinema of Glauber Rocha, for example, the anti-industrial character and the influences related to his cinematographic thought. It will be used the analysis around the artistic, political and cultural expression of the filmmaker, as well as of its filmic form and its unfolding. In this way, the text seeks to elaborate a panorama about the cinematography of the country demonstrating the rupture exerted by the aesthetics of the director and by its reading of the objective world. For this, the scenario of Brazilian cultural production and its market situation is highlighted. Therefore, the study employs a dialogue with the aesthetically presented manifestations between the work of the artist and his representation of material conditions. Keywords: Aesthetics.
