Mobile application prototype for parents and/or caregivers about child development

Child development is intrinsically influenced by the environment to which a social group is subjected and, with the use of technologies, traditional populations can have access to health education. Therefore, the objective was to develop an application on the development of children undergoing surgeries. This research was approved by the CEP (Opinion: 4,218,175) and elaborated in 3 stages: the description of the structures, the interface and the components of the system; the elaboration of a flowchart for the content of the prototype and demonstration of each stage of its creation; and the creation of a prototype based on data found in the literature aimed at guiding parents about the development of children undergoing surgical interventions. The software has 12 main screens, with an avatar for user identification, an audio resource for the semi-literate and offline tools. The choice of colors for the screens, despite being a subjective and individual view, sought to highlight the content inserted in each one. Regarding the images used, most of them were created by the authors themselves. The source was chosen considering a more alternative feature and at the same time linked to pediatrics. Based on research, the application was developed to be made available for free in virtual stores, such as the Play Store.
