Resumo: Prostate cancer (PC) has been and is still a type of cancer very present in society, however, despite the high prevalence, with current scientific advances, its mortality has remained relatively low due to early diagnosis, through screening methods such as the Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) assay, enabling early-stage treatment,  ensuring a good prognosis. This is documentary analysis research, with a quantitative approach, of the data acquired during a blue November campaign in the municipality of Icó - CE, carried out as a preventive measure for prostate cancer, throughout november 2021. After data categorization, it was observed that of the 454 patients tested, only 65 presented alterations in PSA levels, and the incidence of alterations by region is influenced by the low distribution of tests in the other districts. It is also noteworthy that patients who were 65 ≥ years old, presented a higher incidence of alterations, confirming age as a determining factor for the interpretation and prevalence of prostatic changes.  With the collection of the data, the relevance of the campaign in the prevention of prostate cancer in the city was discussed. Thus, allowing the interpretation that the campaign had a considerable impact on the lives of its participants, since some individuals, despite presenting an increase in PSA levels, mostly did not present prostate cancer.
