An integrative reading review was carried out. The libraries used for the search were: the Virtual Health Library (VHL), through the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (Lilacs) database; the Scientific Electronic Library Online (ScIELO). Next, articles written in Portuguese, published between 2016 and 2021, available in full and free of charge, were selected. In view of this, the greatest consequences caused by COVID-19 to the elderly in times of pandemic are in mental health, well-being, and Thus, supportive measures are needed for the elderly population in times of pandemic. |
