This review aimed to identify nursing care for the management of people with enterocutaneous fistula provided in the literature. Therefore, an integrative review was carried out, based on the following guiding question: What are the nursing care for the management of the person with enterocutaneous fistula? The searches were conducted in December 2019, in the electronic databases LILACS, MEDLINE via PubMed, CINAHL, IBECS and SCOPUS, using controlled subject descriptors. The publications were selected with the help of the Endnote web manager and all selection steps were reported in the PRISMA flowchart. In the final sample, five studies were selected for analysis, pointing out care with the perifistula skin, nutritional care, medication care, and emotional and educational support as the main nursing care for people with enterocutaneous fistula. Perifistula skin care, effluent management, use of collecting and adjuvant equipment, control of hydroelectrolytic balance, administration of drugs to control effluent and fight infections, adequate nutritional support and emotional and educational support constitute the nursing care listed in this revision.
