Resumo: In this article we present some concepts of Information Society and analyze the three elements that introduces it: the productive reorganization, the technological evolution and the politics reorganization. It also approaches the TICs’ revolution (technologies of information and communication), the transfer of information and the construction of the knowledge, with the intention of identifying how the theoretical framework of the Information Science and Communication can contribute to the assimilation and use of information with a propeller effect of the transformation and social inclusion in the Knowledge Society.
