Resumo: Com a mudança do impresso ao digital e as leis que garantem o acesso à informação, cria-se um cenário propício para o desenvolvimento de Bibliotecas Digitais (BD) que apoiam a disseminação da informação. Dessa forma, este estudo descreve a implementação da Biblioteca Digital de Juventude da Secretaria Nacional de Juventude (SNJ), vinculada à Secretaria de Governo da Presidência da República, apresentando seus aspectos de seleção de software, customização, organização do acervo e adaptação de sua interface. Contribui-se com as discussões sobre as Bibliotecas Digitais e Repositórios em órgãos governamentais.
