Determining variables for the final result of a professional futsal championship

Introduction: Futsal is a sport popularly has become increasingly competitive. In this sense, the tactical principles and the quality of the technique will help guide the decision-making of the components of a team, which in turn will be followed by an action of a technical-tactical nature, seeking to meet the needs of the situation presented during the match. Aim: To verify whether the number of tackles and submissions on goal influence the number of victories of a futsal team participating in the Campeonato Gaúcha de Futsal Championship in 2019. Materials and Methods: It was a quantitative study, of the documentary analysis type. Twenty-four games were included, being 20 games from the first phase, 2 quarter-finals and 2 semi-finals games, to identify the scores of the matches, the number of tackles and submissions and their influence on the final score. For statistical analysis the SPSS, version 22.0, was used. Data were submitted to descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation). Correlations were used by Spearman's correlation test, (p≤0,05). Results: It was observed the number of shots, tackles and goals made has a significant value in the final result of a match, considering that goals made and goals made have a higher coefficient. Conclusion: According to the results found in this study, the number of goals made, submissions and tackles were significant for the final result of the match. The more goals, submissions and tackles happen in the game, the more chances the team has to win.
