Use of anthropometric data from the food and nutrition surveillance system (Sisvan-Web) in the production of scientific evidence on the nutritional status of the Brazilian population: A systematic review

Resumo: | There is no overview of how anthropometric data from the Food and Nutrition Surveillance System - SISVAM WEB - have been used, which can support decision-making in collective health. We sought to identify how Sisvan Web data has been used and the type of analyzes that have been conducted in Brazil. This is a systematic review that followed PRISMA and was registered in PROSPERO - CRD42021278357 - Studies developed between 2008 and 2022, in any language, that used data from Sisvan-Web at any stage of life were included. Observational designs published in the databases Pubmed, Lilacs, Embase, Adolec, SciELO, Google Scholar and the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations - CAPES - were included. The search was carried out on 08/17/2021 and updated on 07/18/2022. Nine studies used general data and the others evaluated populations by state, totaling 138,785,705 individuals. One study evaluated all life cycles, the majority evaluated children and only 3 studies evaluated elderly people, with 44.4% of the studies showing a low risk of bias. Body mass index was the most used parameter and most studies were ecological - descriptive. |

Buscamos identificar cómo se han utilizado los datos de Sisvan Web y el tipo de análisis que se han realizado en Brasil. Esta es una revisión sistemática que siguió a PRISMA y fue registrada en PROSPERO (CRD42021278357). Se incluyeron estudios desarrollados entre 2008 y 2022, en cualquier idioma, que utilizaron datos del Sisvan-Web en cualquier etapa de la vida. Se incluyeron diseños observacionales publicados en las bases de datos Pubmed, Lilacs, Embase, Adolec, SciELO, Google Scholar y el Catálogo de Tesis y Disertaciones (CAPES). La búsqueda se realizó el 17/08/2021 y se actualizó el 18/07/2022. Nueve estudios utilizaron datos generales y los demás evaluaron poblaciones por estado, totalizando 138,785,705 individuos. Un estudio evaluó todos los ciclos de vida, la mayoría evaluó a niños y sólo 3 estudios evaluaron a personas mayores, mostrando el 44,4% de los estudios un bajo riesgo de sesgo. El índice de masa corporal fue el parámetro más utilizado y la mayoría de los estudios fueron ecológicos (descriptivos).Non esiste una panoramica su come sono stati utilizzati i dati antropometrici del Sistema di sorveglianza alimentare e nutrizionale (Sisvan Web), che possono supportare il processo decisionale nella salute collettiva. Abbiamo cercato di identificare come sono stati utilizzati i dati Sisvan Web e il tipo di analisi che sono state condotte in Brasile. Questa è una revisione sistematica che ha seguito PRISMA ed è stata registrata in PROSPERO (CRD42021278357). Sono stati inclusi studi sviluppati tra il 2008 e il 2022, in qualsiasi lingua, che utilizzavano dati di Sisvan-Web in qualsiasi fase della vita. Sono stati inclusi progetti osservazionali pubblicati nei database Pubmed, Lilacs, Embase, Adolec, SciELO, Google Scholar e nel Catalog of Theses and Dissertations (CAPES). La ricerca è stata effettuata il 17/08/2021 e aggiornata il 18/07/2022. Nove studi hanno utilizzato dati generali e gli altri hanno valutato le popolazioni per stato, per un totale di 138.785.705 individui. Uno studio ha valutato tutti i cicli di vita, la maggioranza ha valutato i bambini e solo 3 studi hanno valutato gli anziani, con il 44,4% degli studi che mostrano un basso rischio di bias.
