Resumo: The present text presents an initial review of the research carried out at the Aracy Abreu Amaral Fund, guarded by the Instituto de Estudos Brasileiros of the University of São Paulo. The fundamental objective of the study is to establish the relations and intellectual exchanges between the different agents who, together with Amaral, were decisive in the delimitation and diffusion of Latin American art between the 1970s and 1990s.
