Resumo: | This research work was developed during the Supervised Curricular Internship of the IFAM/CMC Degree in Chemistry, which had the general objective of promoting a didactic sequence through experimental activities with low cost and everyday materials to teach science. in the 6th grade of elementary school and encourage the production of scientific writing. To achieve the general objective, we define as specific objectives: To present a theoretical framework that portrays science teaching in elementary school II; Show the importance of contextualization and experimentation in science education; Develop a methodology based on experimental activities that work respectively the valuation of students writing using the logbook; To evaluate if the methodology helped in the students' teachinglearning process. The methodology used consisted of three steps. In the first moment a verbal diagnosis was made with the students, to get the starting point, from the previous knowledge about the discipline and about the importance of air to the living beings in the students understanding, generating a debate in the classroom. and the application of the initial questionnaire. The second moment corresponded to the application of the five experiments, followed by explanations during the class, addressing air properties issues and asking students questions about the subject. In the third and last moment, the production of the Logbook was requested, which consisted of reports about the relevance of the methodology applied in the classroom from the students' perspective, highlighting the experiments and the knowledge acquired during the experimental class, in order to stimulate writing and scientific literacy. Considering what was obtained in the results, it was found that science teaching is fundamental, especially in the early grades, which end up reflecting on the importance of discipline for students and encouraging the individual to observe the world with a glance scientific. |

Considering what was obtained in the results, it was found that science teaching is fundamental, especially in the early grades, which end up reflecting on the importance of discipline for students and encouraging the individual to observe the world with a glance scientific.Este trabalho de pesquisa foi desenvolvido durante o Estágio Curricular Supervisionado do Curso de Licenciatura em Química do IFAM/CMC, o qual teve como objetivo geral de promover uma sequência didática por meio de atividades experimentais com materiais do cotidiano e de baixo custo para ensinar ciências no 6º ano do ensino fundamental, e incentivar a produção da escrita científica. Para alcançar o objetivo geral, definimos como objetivos específicos: Apresentar um referencial teórico que retrate o ensino de ciências no ensino fundamental II; Mostrar a importância da contextualização e da experimentação no ensino de ciências; Desenvolver uma metodologia com base em atividades experimentais que trabalhe respectivamente a valorização da escrita dos alunos utilizando o Diário de Bordo; Avaliar se a metodologia auxiliou no processo de ensino-aprendizagem dos alunos. A metodologia utilizada consistiu em três etapas. No primeiro momento realizou-se um diagnóstico verbal com os alunos, para obter o ponto de partida, a partir dos conhecimentos prévios sobre a disciplina de ciências e sobre a importância do ar para os seres vivos no entendimento dos alunos, gerando um debate em sala de aula e a aplicação do questionário inicial. O segundo momento correspondia à aplicação dos cinco experimentos, seguido de explicações durante a aula, abordando assuntos sobre as propriedades do ar e realizando questionamentos aos alunos sobre o assunto. No terceiro e último momento, foi solicitado à produção do Diário de Bordo, que consistia em relatos sobre a relevância da metodologia aplicada em sala de aula na perspectiva dos alunos, destacando os experimentos e os saberes adquiridos durante a aula, no intuito de estimular à escrita e a alfabetização científica.
