Mathematical concepts and digital technologies: a look at the reforestation

Resumo: | This work is the result of a survey of students of the Course of *** offered by **** (**), referring to the optional discipline of Educational Technologies I. The discipline provided spaces for debates and reflections on the application of computational technological resources in Education in Science and Mathematics, both as a foundation for learning and the discussion about possible didactic-pedagogical strategies. In the meantime, methodological strategies were developed through an interdisciplinary pedagogical project applied at a state school that offered elementary and secondary education to the children of family farmers, where digital technologies were used to facilitate the calculation of geographic areas, as well as to discuss related aspects preservation and recovery of environmental areas. Thus, in the course of the work we describe how the project was developed by mixing concepts of mathematics, topography and relating them to the environment, through the theme of reforestation. All this being made possible by the use of digital technologies, where we used three softwares, which allowed a differentiated approach of the mentioned disciplines and led the students to reflect on the environment where they are inserted and the importance of the balance between production and preservation of the environment |

Foram desenvolvidas estratégias metodológicas por meio de um projeto pedagógico interdisciplinar a filhos de agricultores familiares, onde se utilizou tecnologias digitais (TD) visando facilitar o cálculo de áreas geográficas, bem como discutir aspectos relacionados à preservação e à recuperação de áreas ambientais. Para isso foram feitas discussões aprofundamentos sobre recursos hídricos e código florestal, bem como aulas de campo com coleta de dados utilizando as TD e constatações in loco. Assim, no decorrer do trabalho foram discutidos diversos conteúdos, mesclando conceitos da matemática, da topografia e relacionando-os ao meio ambiente, por meio da temática do reflorestamento.
