GameAlfa: technological resource for students in the literacy process

Resumo: | This research investigated the use of a game called GameAlfa as a facilitating resource of literacy through the development of phonological awareness skills in second-year students of an elementary school in a public school in Manaus. During the methodological course, we adopted the qualitative approach with action research as a method; the techniques and instruments of data collection used were bibliographic research, participant observation, and the questionnaire adapted in test format. As the main resource, we created a game while researching and then applied it to the class. Through the application of a prototype, we collected the suggestions of the students and the teacher of the class and applied it again with the suggested changes, seeking with this a collaborative process of investigation and creation of the product. The results verified were satisfactory, since they indicate the development of phonological awareness skills in the majority of the students participating in the research from the use of GameAlfa as a technological resource. |

Durante o percurso metodológico, adotamos a abordagem qualitativa tendo a pesquisa-ação como método; as técnicas e instrumentos de coleta de dados utilizados foram a pesquisa bibliográfica, a observação participante e o questionário adaptado em formato de testes. Como principal recurso, foi criado um game durante o percurso investigatório e aplicado junto à turma de alunos. Através da aplicação de um protótipo, foram coletadas as sugestões dos alunos e da professora da turma e aplicado novamente com as alterações sugeridas, buscando com isso um processo colaborativo de investigação e de criação do produto.
