Design Thinking as a methodological approach for the construction of educational product: an experience in the teaching area professional master course

In this paper, we report an application of Design Thinking (DT) as a methodological approach for the conception of an educational product (EP), within the scope of a Professional Mastering Course, in the Teaching area. The background theoretical presents the DT phases and Techniques, followed by their practical application in the construction of guidelines to teachers develop learning scripts to orientate students' autonomous study. This work directly contributes to: (i) demonstrate the application of DT in the generation of EP, considering the Education scientific research; (ii) highlight the "comings and goings", often necessary to conceive a successful solution to a research problem; and, (iii) show the dual role of a postgraduate student in the professional modality - that is, of researcher and product designer.
