Perceptions of concepts in environmental education through a didactic sequence with the theme water in different environments

Resumo: The article presented is an excerpt from the dissertation of the Professional Master's Degree in Science Teaching at the State University of Roraima and corresponds to the research Perceptions of Concepts in Environmental Education that aimed to analyze through a didactic sequence the students' perception in relation to environmental education, highlighting the Water content in Different Environments. The research approach is qualitative in nature, developed with eighteen students from the 6th year of Elementary School and it was configured as an action research because it understands that the researcher was present researching and developing the actions in collaboration with the participants, thus bringing a collective reflection and its contributions to teaching, education and society. The research results allowed us to analyze the didactic sequence as being productive and effective in the construction of new concepts and new perceptions of the students, because through the approach of the content, spaces were opened for debates, questions and production of activities, in this bias the moments of the sequence didactics allowed students to reflect and rethink about individual and collective attitudes, facing situations currently seen in nature and provided the construction of scientific knowledge through systematized activities.

A abordagem da pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, desenvolvida com dezoito alunos do 6º ano do Ensino Fundamental e configurou-se como uma pesquisa-ação por entender que o pesquisador se fez presente pesquisando e desenvolvendo as ações em colaboração com os participantes, trazendo assim uma reflexão coletiva e suas contribuições para o ensino, educação e sociedade.
