THE TABOCAL FAMILY AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION FOR THE FIELD

Resumo: | The Escola Agrícola Tabocal School offers professional education for the countryside, the sustainable development of the northern region of Minas Gerais and the strengthening of family farming. Which presupposes an integral human and citizen formation. Thus, this article aims to characterize and analyze the said School, seeking to answer whether this student promotes comprehensive education contributing to the expansion of citizenship in professional education? We base this reflection on bibliographic and field research. We conclude that the educational pretensions of the School are based on the historical movement of the peasants for an education that meets their desires, and that the manifestation of these pretensions in the teaching-learning process is fraught with tensions, challenges and advances. |

O que pressupõe uma formação humana integral e cidadã. Dessa forma, este artigo objetiva caracterizar e analisar a referida Escola, buscando responder se esse educandário promove uma formação integral contribuindo para a ampliação da cidadania na educação profissional? Pautamos essa reflexão em pesquisa bibliográfica e de campo.
