Resumo: | The general objective of this study is to evaluate the application of a support system in the management of chest pain cases in remote areas. This is a cross-sectional study, which evaluated 22,000 medical consultations, carried out from January 2015 to January 2019, with a population of employees from several companies in the oil and gas sector, served by a multinational central in a capital in Brazil. In the period from January 2015 to January 2019, 22,643 consultations were carried out in deep waters (offshore), of which 907 generated a non-urgent disembarkation or referral to the hospital due to medical recommendation and 97 aeromedical evacuations (Medevac - removal or medical disembarkation of emergency by air ambulance). Of these 97 Medevacs, 26 were due to cardiac complaints. Through the results obtained, we show that with the cardiac diagnostic kit and health professional, the indication of these disembarks were all correct and necessary, as confirmed in the in-hospital assistance. |

Este es un estudio transversal, que evaluó 22.000 consultas médicas, llevadas a cabo de enero de 2015 a enero de 2019, con una población de empleados de varias compañías en el sector de petróleo y gas, atendidos por una central multinacional en una ciudad capital en Brasil. En el período comprendido entre enero de 2015 y enero de 2019, se llevaron a cabo 22.643 consultas en aguas profundas (offshore), de las cuales 907 generaron un desembarco no urgente o derivación al hospital debido a una recomendación médica y 97 evacuaciones aeromédicas (EVAM - extracción o desembarco médico de emergencia en ambulancia aérea). De estos 97 EVAMs, 26 se debieron a problemas cardíacos. A través de los resultados obtenidos, demostramos que, con el kit de diagnóstico cardiológico y profesional de la salud, la indicación de los desembarcos realizados fue correcta y necesaria, confirmada en la atención hospitalaria.O objetivo geral deste estudo é avaliar a aplicação de um sistema de apoio no manejo de casos de dor torácica em áreas remotas. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, que avaliou 22.000 consultas médicas, realizadas no período de janeiro de 2015 a janeiro de 2019, com uma população de empregados de diversas empresas do setor de óleo e gás, atendidas por uma central multinacional em uma capital do Brasil. No período de janeiro de 2015 a janeiro de 2019, foram realizadas 22.643 consultas em águas profundas (offshore), das quais 907 geraram um desembarque não urgente ou encaminhamento ao hospital devido a recomendação médica, e 97 evacuações aeromédicas (EVAM - remoção ou desembarque médico de urgência por ambulância aérea). Desses 97 EVAMs, 26 foram devidos a queixas cardiológicas. Com os resultados obtidos, evidenciamos que com o kit de diagnóstico cardiológico e profissional de saúde, a indicação dos desembarques realizados foram todas acertadas e necessárias, confirmadas no atendimento intra-hospitalar.
