Resumo: The study “O Enfrentamento à Transfobia no IFPA- Campus Belém: percepções sobre a Resolução 363/2017” aimed to investigate the level of knowledge of the Campus Belém community about the institutional policy to combat transphobia at the IFPA. We sought to understand how the Social Name Use Policy is implemented in practice and what is the community's knowledge of Resolution 363/2017-CONSUP-IFPA, that guarantees this right. In addition, we investigated the perceptions of teachers, students and administrative technicians about Trans students. It was a quantitative and qualitative research with documental, bibliographic and field searches, through the application of questionnaires. The literature review was based on contributions from authors such as (2000), Peres (2009), Rios (2009), Alves e Moreira (2015), Bento (2002), Junqueira (2009), Lima Neto, Cavalcanti e Gleyse (2018). As a result, there was a significant lack of knowledge of the Resolution 363/2017 and the urgency of continuing education for the servers on gender identity, gender and sexuality, as a strategy to guarantee a human, critical and citizenly formation for all the subjects of Vocational and Technological Education.

Buscamos comprender cómo se implementa en la práctica la Política de Uso del Nombre Social y cuál es el conocimiento de la comunidad de la Resolución 363/2017-CONSUP, que garantiza este derecho. Además, investigamos las percepciones de docentes, estudiantes y técnicos administrativos sobre los estudiantes Trans. Fue una investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa con búsquedas documentales, bibliográficas y de campo, a través de la aplicación de cuestionarios. La revisión bibliográfica se basó en aportes de autores como (2000), Peres (2009), Rios (2009), Alves y Moreira (2015), Bento (2002), Junqueira (2009), Lima Neto, Cavalcanti y Gleyse (2018). Como resultado, se registró un importante desconocimiento de la Resolución 363/2017 y surgió la urgencia de la educación permanente de los servidores sobre identidad de género, género y sexualidad, como estrategia para garantizar una formación humana, crítica y ciudadana para todos los sujetos de la Educación Profesional y Tecnológica.O estudo “O Enfrentamento à Transfobia no IFPA- Campus Belém: percepções sobre a Resolução 363/2017” teve como objetivo investigar o nível de conhecimento da comunidade do Campus Belém sobre a política institucional de combate à transfobia no IFPA. Procurou-se compreender como na prática se implementa a Política do Uso do Nome Social e qual o conhecimento da comunidade sobre a Resolução 363/2017 CONSUP-IFPA, que garante esse direito. Além disso, investigaram-se as percepções dos docentes, discentes e técnicos administrativos sobre os estudantes Trans. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa com procedimentos quantitativos e qualitativos com busca documental, bibliográfica e de campo, por meio da aplicação de questionários. A revisão da literatura partiu das contribuições de autores como Louro (2000), Peres (2009), Rios (2009), Alves e Moreira (2015), Bento (2002), Junqueira (2009), Lima Neto, Cavalcanti e Gleyse (2018).
