Think-Pair-Share method combined with the use of an online simulator: contributions and challenges for the study of Analog Electronics in Technical Education

Resumo: In the educational context, active methodologies are guidelines that orient pedagogical action in which the student is the protagonist of his learning process. This article aims to present the analysis of contributions and challenges of using the Think-Pair-Share active-learning technique, supported by the use of an online simulator, for the teaching and learning process of rectifiers, in Analog Electronics classes of a technical course in Industrial Automation. The research was qualitative, of the pedagogical intervention type. The data, collected by pre-test and post-test, observation during the application of a didactic sequence and questionnaire, showed that the proposal brought significant contributions to the teaching-learning process, although there was some resistance in terms of more participatory postures.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar el análisis de las contribuciones y los desafíos del uso de la metodología activa Think-Pair-Share, respaldada por el uso de un simulador en línea, para el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje del rectificador, en las clases de Electrónica Analógica de un curso técnico en Automatización Industrial. La investigación fue cualitativa, del tipo de intervención pedagógica. Los datos, recopilados por pre-test y post-test, observación durante la aplicación de una secuencia didáctica y un cuestionario, mostraron que la propuesta aportó contribuciones significativas al proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje, aunque hubo cierta resistencia en términos de posturas más participativas.No contexto educacional, metodologias ativas são diretrizes que orientam ações pedagógicas nas quais o aluno é o protagonista do seu processo de aprendizagem. Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar a análise de contribuições e de desafios da utilização da metodologia ativa Think-Pair-Share, apoiada no uso de um simulador on-line, para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem de retificadores, em aulas de Eletrônica Analógica de um curso técnico em Automação Industrial. A pesquisa foi qualitativa, do tipo intervenção pedagógica.
