Resumo: Ivone Pereira da Silva is a Social Worker, graduated in Social Work - Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1978). Master in Social Work from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1995). She worked as a Social Worker at the São Paulo City Hall for over 30 years. She has experience in the research area, with emphasis on the themes: home care, family caregiver, social assistance and dependent elderly. She is dedicated to delving into social assistance policy and research in this area. She has teaching experience in graduation and specialization in Social Work. She taught for 19 years in higher education. She is currently retired.

Máster en Trabajo Social por la Pontificia Universidad Católica de São Paulo (1995). Trabajó como Trabajador Social en la Municipalidad de São Paulo durante más de 30 años. Posee experiencia en el área de investigación, con énfasis en las temáticas: cuidado domiciliario, cuidador familiar, asistencia social y anciano dependiente. Se dedica a profundizar la política de asistencia social y de investigación en este ámbito. Tiene experiencia como docente en la graduación y especialización en Trabajo Social. Enseñó durante 19 años en la educación superior. Actualmente está jubilada.Ivone Pereira da Silva é Assistente Social, formada em Serviço Social - Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (1978). Mestre em Serviço Social pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1995). Trabalhou como Assistente Social na Prefeitura de São Paulo, por mais de 30 anos. Tem experiência na área de pesquisa, com ênfase nos temas: assistência domiciliar, cuidador familiar, assistência social e idoso dependente. Dedica-se a aprofundar na política de assistência social e na pesquisa nesta área. Tem experiência como docente na graduação e especialização em Serviço Social. Lecionou por 19 anos em ensino superior.
