Resumo: As novas tecnologias, hoje, abarcam todas as áreas de conhecimento. Com isso, novos gêneros textuais surgem a partir das necessidades dos leitores. É preciso que os professores estejam a par das novas mídias e utilizem os novos gêneros para inserir a educação nessas diferentes formas de ler e escrever. Este artigo pretende discutir o uso de novos gêneros dentro das novas tecnologias e o ensino de leitura nas escolas, através da mediação do professor. Para isso, apresentamos a definição de gênero textual aqui utilizada e os gêneros textuais mais presentes nas novas mídias, por exemplo, um site ou um e-mail, como novas ferramentas de aprendizagem para os alunos. Veremos a influência das novas tecnologias no letramento, como costumam ser vistas pelos educadores e como devem ser utilizadas, partindo da consideração de que há múltiplos letramentos. E discutiremos o fazer do professor para a inclusão de novas fontes de conhecimento na sala de aula e seu papel de facilitador da aprendizagem significativa. Palavras-chave: Letramento. Gênero textual. Mídia. Ensino. READING, TEXTUAL GENRES AND NEW TECNOLOGIES Abstract: New technologies today cover all areas of knowledge. Therefore, new kinds of texts arise from the needs of readers. We need teachers to be aware of new media and using new genres to include education in these different ways of reading and writing. This article aims to discuss the use of new genres in the new technologies and the teaching of reading in schools, through the mediation of the teacher. For this, we present the definition of genre used here and the kinds of texts more present in new media, for example, a site or an e-mail, and new learning tools for students. We will see the influence of new technologies in literacy, how it is understood by teachers and how to use them, considering that there are multiple literacies. We will discuss the making of teachers for the inclusion of new sources of knowledge in the classroom and their role as a facilitator to the significant learning. Key-words: Literacy. Textual genre.
