O processo de ressignificação: uma proposta para o descarte de objetos

Resumo: There are many reasons for acquiring an object, one of them being the practical function. However,when the object no longer performs its basic functions, it is often discarded. The purpose of this article is topresent the resignification process as a solution for discarding objects. The adapted methodology for the workhas three stages: theorization, definition and resignification. Through bibliographical research, it wasresearched what characterizes an object, what its possible functions and the concept behind the resignification.It was then decided to work with the student group (table and school chair), submitted to studies and analysis, inorder to understand the structure, components and how they could be used in the process of reframing. As aresult, three furniture proposals were developed: a support table, a bookcase and a bench.

Porém,quando um objeto não mais exerce suas funções básicas acaba sendo descartado. O objetivo deste artigo éapresentar o processo de ressignificação como uma alternativa para o descarte de objetos. A metodologiaadaptada para o trabalho apresenta três etapas: teorização, definição e ressignificação. Por meio de pesquisabibliográfica, pesquisou-se o que caracteriza um objeto, quais suas possíveis funções e o conceito deressignificação. Na definição, foi selecionado o conjunto aluno (mesa e cadeira escolar), o qual foi submetido àsanálises a fim de entender a estrutura, os componentes e como poderiam ser utilizados no processo.
