Resumo: | The author argues that theoretical economics can not take the place of history or economic statistics in the pursuit of knowledge and the most comprehensive research in the field of history or statistics can not replace theoretical economics without leaving a vacuum in the system of economics. Understanding concrete phenomena of any kind whatsoever, must always distinguish the scientific basis of this understanding, ie, the theory or history of relevant phenomena; practical and theoretical understanding of economic phenomena should be distinguished, in particular, the economics theory. |

Instituto Mises Brasil2013-12-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournal/article/view/48910.30800/mises.2013.v1.489MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics; Vol. 1 No. 2 (2013); 375-386MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics; Vol. 1 Núm. 2 (2013); 375-386MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics; v. 1 n. 2 (2013); 375-3862594-91872318-0811reponame:Misesinstname:Instituto Mises Brasilinstacron:IMBporhttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournal/article/view/489/213Menger, Carlinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2019-06-08T02:32:07Zoai:ojs.emnuvens.com.br:article/489Revistahttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournalPRIhttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournal/oairevista@mises.org.br2594-91872318-0811opendoar:2019-06-08T02:32:07Mises - Instituto Mises Brasilfalse |
