Resumo: In this work, the author discusses the psychological consequences of preferring a social and economic environment characterized by bureaucratic organization instead of a rational economic organization based on market prices. In the case of a social and economic life characterized by increasing bureaucratization, the paternalistic tutelage tends to become authoritarian and unfavorable to the strengthening of the critical sense, without which a false belief emerges, the idea that it is possible to have liberty under a system of complete regimentation.

Instituto Mises Brasil2015-12-01info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournal/article/view/79310.30800/mises.2015.v3.793MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics; Vol. 3 No. 2 (2015); 537-546MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics; Vol. 3 Núm. 2 (2015); 537-546MISES: Interdisciplinary Journal of Philosophy, Law and Economics; v. 3 n. 2 (2015); 537-5462594-91872318-0811reponame:Misesinstname:Instituto Mises Brasilinstacron:IMBporhttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournal/article/view/793/477Mises, Ludwig voninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess2019-06-08T02:31:29Zoai:ojs.emnuvens.com.br:article/793Revistahttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournalPRIhttps://revistamises.org.br/misesjournal/oairevista@mises.org.br2594-91872318-0811opendoar:2019-06-08T02:31:29Mises - Instituto Mises Brasilfalse
