Resumo: This is a report of three cases, namely florid papillomatosis, epithelioma cuniculatum and Buschke Lowenstein tumor. They are considered as typical of the three entities that compose the pseudo epitheliomatous papillomatosis group. The Authors accept the term "pseudo epitheliomatous papillomatosis as supported by the similarity in clinical aspects, histopathology, evolution and recommended treatment. They discuss the difficuity in establishing the histologic diagnosis of these lesions which, at times can only be recognized after repeated studies.
