Resumo: Urethral cancer is a rare disease. It’s incidence is higher in women, and the male urethral carcinoma is rare. The authors report a case of a male patient with squamous cell carcinoma of the urethra, and the initial presentation was a urethral fistula of difficult management, and because of the advanced stage of the disease, treatment was not successful. The literature pertaining to this rare tumor of genitourinary tract is reviewed.

Os autores relatam um caso de carcinoma epidermóide de uretra em homem, com apresentação inicial de fístula uretral de difícil manejo, e devido à fase avançada da doença não foi possível ter sucesso terapêutico.
