Resumo: This article is a brief reflection on the inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in inclusive high schools. In the context of inclusive education, we sought to reflect on the process of school inclusion of students with intellectual disabilities in secondary education in inclusive schools. Passing through the following thematic axes: Characterization of Intellectual Disability, Legislation on the Rights of People with Intellectual Disabilities and the Parameters for the Schooling of Students with Intellectual Disabilities. This is research regarding the applied purpose, regarding the bibliographic objectives, of a qualitative nature. As a result of the research, it can be seen that there was an increase in the offer of places for students with intellectual disabilities in inclusive schools, but these school institutions still need to improve their pedagogical structure, invest in the training of teachers in regular classrooms and resources. In order to develop the social and adaptive skills of this audience of students.

En el contexto de la educación inclusiva, buscamos reflexionar sobre el proceso de inclusión escolar de los estudiantes con discapacidad intelectual en la educación secundaria en las escuelas inclusivas. Pasando por los siguientes ejes temáticos: Caracterización de la Discapacidad Intelectual, Legislación sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual y los Parámetros para la Escolarización de los Estudiantes con Discapacidad Intelectual. Se trata de una investigación en cuanto al propósito aplicado, en cuanto a los objetivos bibliográficos, de carácter cualitativo. Como resultado de la investigación se puede apreciar que hubo un incremento en la oferta de cupos para estudiantes con discapacidad intelectual en escuelas inclusivas, pero estas instituciones escolares aún necesitan mejorar su estructura pedagógica, invertir en la formación de docentes en forma regular aulas y recursos. Con el fin de desarrollar las habilidades sociales y adaptativas de este público de estudiantes.O presente artigo é uma breve reflexão sobre a inclusão dos estudantes com deficiência intelectual nas escolas inclusivas de Ensino Médio. No contexto da educação inclusiva, buscou-se refletir sobre o processo de inclusão escolar dos estudantes com deficiência intelectual no ensino médio das escolas inclusivas. Perpassando-se pelos seguintes eixos temáticos: Caracterização da Deficiência Intelectual, Legislação dos Direitos das Pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual e os Parâmetros para a escolarização dos estudantes com deficiência intelectual. Tratando-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa com finalidade aplicada com método de revisão bibliográfica.
