ANALYSIS OF THE ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY OF A SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATOR (ON-GRID) PROJECT IN A RESIDENCE IN THE INTERIOR OF MINAS GERAIS

Resumo: The present research investigated the economic and financial viability of the implementation of photovoltaic systems, with evaluation and financial analysis by methods such as NPV - Net Present Value, IRR - Internal Rate of Return, return time of the enterprise (payback). The study aimed to carry out an economic feasibility study on the advantages of using solar energy in a residence in the Northwest region of the state of Minas Gerais. The methodology adopted in the research fits in the quantitative analysis, applying methods of financial diagnoses, elaborating results for possible decision making. The results obtained point to a viability of the residence, it was verified through the analysis of the discounted payback with interest of 6% pa, that it would present a return in 29.29% of the time of its prospected useful life, which corresponds to 7 years and 3 months showing a rate of 13%, above the minimum rate of attractiveness used of 7% pa, in addition to the environmental prerogative for the consumption of a renewable energy source.

El estudio tuvo como objetivo realizar un estudio de factibilidad económica sobre las ventajas del uso de energía solar en una residencia en la región Noroeste del estado de Minas Gerais. La metodología adoptada en la investigación se enmarca en el análisis cuantitativo, aplicando métodos de diagnósticos financieros, elaborando resultados para la posible toma de decisiones. Los resultados obtenidos apuntan a una viabilidad de la residencia, se verificó mediante el análisis del payback descontado con interés del 6% aa, que presentaría un retorno en el 29.29% del tiempo de su vida útil prospectada, lo que corresponde a 7 años y 3 meses mostrando una tasa del 13%, por encima de la tasa mínima de atractivo utilizada del 7% anual, además de la prerrogativa ambiental por el consumo de una fuente de energía renovable.A presente pesquisa investigou a viabilidade econômica e financeira da implantação de sistemas fotovoltaicos, com avaliação e análise financeira por métodos como VPL - Valor Presente Líquido, TIR - Taxa Interna de Retorno, tempo de retorno do empreendimento (payback). O estudo teve como objetivo realizar um estudo da viabilidade econômica sobre as vantagens de se utilizar a energia solar em uma residência na região do Noroeste do estado de Minas Gerais. A metodologia adotada na pesquisa enquadra-se na análise quantitativa, aplicando-se de métodos de diagnósticos financeiros, elaborando resultados para possíveis tomadas de decisão.
