FINAL DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE FROM CIVIL CONSTRUCTION IN THE CITY OF VAZANTE-MG

Resumo: The inadequate disposal of waste generated by civil construction can be considered the largest generator of Civil Construction Waste (RCC0, which can be a serious sanitary, environmental and aesthetic problem. This study was carried out considering the reality of the municipality of Vazante-MG, with the objective of estimating the generation of RCC's. The adopted methodology was a qualitative-quantitative field research with exploratory character, observations were made for analysis on the final destination of waste from civil construction in the city. The indirect method was developed by Pinto (1999) and takes into account the generation of 150 kg of waste for each square meter of constructed area, where estimates of the volume of waste were made based on data provided by the municipality itself using the indirect method, considering a period of 3 years. results indicate that the municipality of Vazante has a large amount of medium and small construction in progress, where between the years 2019 to 2021 there is an increase of 174%. In Vazante, a generation of 3.11 g/inhabitant/day of RCC was estimated. Two areas were indicated for the disposal of generated waste, one in the urban area and the other in the rural area of ??the municipality. Based on this information, the control of the generation and disposal of RCC can be carried out by the competent bodies, indicating that the works may be in breach of state and federal laws, as well as the resolution of the National Council for the Environment (CONAMA) 307 of 5 July of 2002.

Este estudio se realizó considerando la realidad del municipio de Vazante-MG, con el objetivo de estimar la generación de RCC's. La metodología adoptada fue una investigación de campo cualitativa y cuantitativa con carácter exploratorio, se realizaron observaciones para el análisis del destino final de los residuos de la construcción civil en la ciudad. El método indirecto fue desarrollado por Pinto (1999) y toma en cuenta la generación de 150 kg de residuos por cada metro cuadrado de área construida, donde se realizaron estimaciones del volumen de residuos con base en datos proporcionados por el municipio mediante el método indirecto, considerando un período de 3 años. .Los resultados indican que el municipio de Vazante tiene una gran cantidad de obras medianas y pequeñas en curso, donde entre los años 2019 a 2021 hay un incremento del 174%. En Vazante se estimó una generación de 3,11 g / habitante / día de CCR. Se indicaron dos áreas para la disposición de los residuos generados, una en el área urbana y otra en el área rural del municipio. Con base en esta información, el control de la generación y disposición de RCC puede ser realizado por los órganos competentes, indicando que las obras pueden estar en incumplimiento de las leyes estatales y federales, así como la resolución del Consejo Nacional del Ambiente ( CONAMA) 307 de 5 de julio de 2002.A disposição inadequada de resíduos gerados pela construção civil pode ser considerada o maior gerador de Resíduos da Construção Civil (RCC), podendo ser um sério problema sanitário, ambiental e estético. Este estudo foi realizado considerando a realidade do município de Vazante-MG, com o objetivo de estimar a geração dos RCC´s. A metodologia adotada foi uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa de campo com caráter exploratório e observacional, foram feitas observações para análise sobre a destinação final dos resíduos oriundos da construção civil na cidade. O método indireto foi desenvolvido por Pinto (1999) e leva em consideração a geração de 150 kg de resíduo por cada metro quadrado de área construída, onde foram realizadas estimativas do volume de resíduos com base em dados fornecidos pelo próprio município utilizando método indireto, considerando um período de 3 anos. Os resultados indicam que o município de Vazante, dispõem de uma grande quantidade de construção de médio e pequeno porte em execução, onde entre os anos de 2019 a 2021 configura-se um aumento de 174%. Em Vazante estimou-se uma geração de 3,11 g/hab/dia de RCC. Foram indicadas duas áreas para deposição de resíduos gerados, uma no meio urbano e outra no meio rural do município.
