Resumo: Neste trabalho analisaremos o crescimento da produtividade total de fatores, mais especificamente visamos entender como esta é afetada pelos dois principais canais de transferência internacional de tecnologia: investimento direto estrangeiro e licenciamento. Nossa análise se dará sobre uma amostra de 71 países para o período entre 1980 e 2008. Uma contribuição importante deste trabalho em relação aos de Bonzanini, Souza e Melo (2013) e Pessoa (2008) é a inclusão de variáveis da Cross-country Historical Adoption of Technology (CHAT) dataset1 como controles nas regressões.
