Indicadores ambientais georreferenciados para a área de proteção ambiental de Guaraqueçaba

The present study environmental indicators were created from primary information of the georeferenciated Data Bank (GBD) of Guaraqueçaba APA. The data is about soil use, vegetal covering, declivity and hipsometry used as variants of environmental information and occupation pressure. The result was the elaboration of an indicator that could represent the region as a potential environmental degraded or critical area, reflecting areas that should be recovered. The results indicate the existence of three patterns of critical areas for the Guaraqueçaba APA: soil use X superior declivities to 45%; soil use X ciliary forest and soil use X areas in altitudes over 500m. The proportion of these areas represent 0,13, 0,81 and 1,15% of the APA total area, respectively, suggesting that the region presents a satisfactory state of environmental preservation.
