Thinking of socioeconomics addressed to organizations: a comparative study between an incipient brazilian experience and a demonstrative chilean project

Resumo: How to transit between utilitarian economic actions and other actions that have to do with a different type of economics or socio-economy? The answer lies in building a theory that enables thinking of socioeconomics within organizations. The objective is to demonstrate this theory in practice by comparing an incipient Brazilian experience to a demonstrative Chilean project. The experiences took into consideration the following similarities: the creation of cooperatives as work and income generation alternatives; care addressed to local historical-cultural traditions; and, effort to establish a rural-urban spatial sustainability. While the Brazilian experience was based in an isolated local organization supported by the municipal government, the Chilean experience was built within a network of social movements based in the Fair Trade concept

Neste sentido, objetiva-se propor um construto teórico para se pensar a socioeconomia das organizações e visualizá-la na prática quando se compara uma experiência incipiente brasileira com um projeto demonstrativo chileno.
