Resumo: This paper aims to analyze the standard of international trade specialization of the state of Paraná identifying the most dynamic industries in the period between 2001 and 2011. So, various indicators of international trade of the state are calculate, such as intra-industrytrade and comparative advantage index. The results show that despite the state of Paraná have sought for diversification of the productive sector and thus, the export agenda, thiscontinues to be predominantly composed of natural resources based sectors. Therefore, when analyzing the proposed indicators, the conclusion is that the sectors that specializes in international trade exhibit conventional comparative advantages, although the existenceof intra-industry trade in specific sectors.

Para ello, se calculan varios indicadores de la situación del comerciointernacional del Paraná, como índice de ventaja comparativa y comercio intraindustrial. Losresultados muestran que a pesar del esfuerzo del estado en luchar por la diversificación delsector productivo y de la canasta exportadora, esta continúa componiéndose principalmentede los sectores basados en recursos naturales. Por lo tanto, al analizar los indicadorespropuestos, se concluye que los sectores especializados de comercio internacional sonlos que tienen ventajas comparativas tradicionales, a pesar de la existencia del comerciointraindustrial en sectores específicos.Esta pesquisa busca analisar o padrão de especialização do comércio internacional doEstado do Paraná identificando os setores produtivos mais dinâmicos no período entre2001 e 2011. Para tanto, calculam-se os diversos indicadores de comércio internaciona ldo Estado, como índice de vantagem comparativa e comércio intraindústria. Os resultados mostram que apesar de o Estado do Paraná ter como objetivo o esforço no sentido da diversificação do setor produtivo e, assim, da pauta exportadora, esta continua a ser composta predominantemente por setores baseados em recursos naturais.
