Resumo: In this work, a theoretical-experimental methodology was developed for the calibration of HPGe Detector for quantitative analysis of iodine-125. Photopick efficiencies was measured between 0 - 40 keV using a certified calibration source (iodine-129) with well-known activity. The efficiency curve was determined for an energy range that covers the region of interest for iodine-125 (0 - 40 keV). The calibrate spectrum was obtained for study and the result was saved in the detector directory for future analysis and determination of the iodine-125 activity.
