Resumo: This research was carried out to deepen the theme of Special Education and Inclusion and attendance in Specialized Educational Service rooms. The method used was bibliographical research, with a qualitative and descriptive nature. Its main objective is to analyze the Specialized Educational Service in the municipal teaching network of Salgueiro-PE, at the Escola Professora Cleuzemi Pereira do Nascimento Silva. The work is justified by the importance of scientific knowledge about AEE in the field of educational studies and by the fact that the topic has been discussed in recent years in major educational events, such as congresses, seminars and others. Inclusion is not a quick and automatic process, but it happens slowly and gradually, and it may take time for people with some type of special educational need to be included in regular schools.

O método utilizado foi a pesquisa bibliográfica, com natureza qualitativa e descritiva. Tem como objetivo principal, analisar o Atendimento Educacional Especializado na rede municipal de ensino de Salgueiro-PE, na Escola Professora Cleuzemi Pereira do    Nascimento Silva. O trabalho tem como justificativa a importância do conhecimento científico a respeito do AEE no campo de estudos   educacionais e pelo fato de que o tema tem sido discutido nos últimos anos em grandes eventos educacionais, como, congressos, seminários e outros.
