Resumo: A lipodistrofia localizada está entre as principais disfunções estéticas que acometem o público feminino que procuram por tratamentos estéticos. Essa disfunção acomete o tecido adiposo, também conhecido como camada sobcutânea de gordura ou  hipoderme. Para o tratamento da lipodistrofia localiza algumas técnicas tem sido indicadas, tais como o uso do ultrassom. Diante do exposto, este estudo tem como objetivo geral apresentar os principais impactos do ultrassom no tratamento de pacientes com lipodistrofia localizada a partir de um estudo de revisão integrativa da literatura. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza bibliográfica a ser elaborada com base em textos já publicados tais como livros, artigos e dissertações. Os textos serão coletados na biblioteca virtual, Minha Biblioteca, e nas bases de dados Schoolar Google, Lilacs e Scielo. Após leitura analítica dos textos selecionados, dar-se-á início a organização das ideias primárias e secundárias e, por fim, a sintetização e escrita das ideias para a construção lógica do trabalho. Assim, acredita-se que os seus resultados contribuirão cientificamente para o desenvolvimento de estudos na área de Estética e Cosmética bem como para auxiliar os pacientes no momento de decidir pelas melhoras técnicas.Palavras-chave: Estética; Lipodistrofia localizada; Ultrassom. Abstract: Localized lipodystrophy is among the main aesthetic dysfunctions that affect the female public looking for aesthetic treatments. This dysfunction affects the adipose tissue, also known as the subcutaneous layer of fat or hypodermis. For the treatment of localized lipodystrophy, some techniques have been indicated, such as the use of ultrasound. Given the above, this study aims to present the main impacts of ultrasound in the treatment of patients with localized lipodystrophy from an integrative literature review study. This is a bibliographic research to be elaborated based on previously published texts such as books, articles and dissertations. The texts will be collected in the virtual library, Minha Biblioteca, and in the Schoolar Google, Lilacs and Scielo databases. After an analytical reading of the selected texts, the organization of primary and secondary ideas will begin and, finally, the synthesis and writing of ideas for the logical construction of the work. Thus, it is believed that its results will contribute scientifically to the development of studies in the area of Aesthetics and Cosmetics as well as to help patients when deciding on technical improvements.
