Resumo: This monograph has the purpose to demonstrate the evolution of artificial intelligence in the legal field, having as main objective to analyze emblematic questions about ethics, legal personality and civil responsibility that guide its development. This is a totally innovative topic to the social environment, so it is essential to carry out a prior legal study regarding its use. For this, the work relied on qualitative research in articles, books, websites, magazines and newspapers. Having made the necessary analyzes, it was possible to conclude that the use of this new technology will restructure the ontological and epistemological bases of current law, in order to reformulate basic concepts already existing in society such as person and personality, in addition to creating new perspectives and social concepts. Consequently, the best alternative is to train lawyers to understand how this technology works, thus allowing coexistence between humans and machines in the same environment.

Consequently, the best alternative is to train lawyers to understand how this technology works, thus allowing coexistence between humans and machines in the same environment.O presente trabalho tem o intuito de demonstrar a evolução da inteligência artificial no campo jurídico, tendo como principal objetivo analisar questões emblemáticas sobre ética, personalidade jurídica e responsabilidade civil que norteiam o seu desenvolvimento. Este é um tema totalmente inovador ao meio social, dessa forma, é fundamental realizar um estudo jurídico prévio a respeito da sua utilização. Para isso o trabalho contou com pesquisa qualitativa em artigos, livros, sítios da internet, revistas e jornais.  Feitas as análises necessárias foi possível concluir que o uso dessa nova tecnologia vai reestruturar as bases ontológicas e epistemológicas do direito atual, de modo a reformular conceitos básicos já existentes na sociedade como de pessoa e personalidade, além de criar novas perspectivas e concepções sociais.
