Português Coping with sexually transmitted infections in adolescente and the importance of nursing in prevention, tracking and treatment

Resumo: | Objective: The objective of this work was to identify the knowledge and social determinants of adolescents related to STIs, and what actions the nursing team takes to combat STIs. Methods: This is a literary review study, in the period 2017-2023, through a survey of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) databases. Results: 10 scientific articles were selected, these addressed subjects that were separated and organized by category, where the knowledge published through them on the proposed topic was consolidated, syntactically interconnecting them to obtain a set of propositions and conclusions from the chosen authors. Conclusion: In this study it was shown that STIs affect different groups, the majority being adolescents, and that social determinants are an important factor in conditioning this health-disease process that is carried out through the nursing team. |

Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão literária, no período de 2017-2023, através de um levantamento em base de dados da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), e Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo). Resultados: Foram selecionados 10 artigos científicos, esses abordaram assuntos que foram separados e organizados por categoria, onde foi consolidado o conhecimento publicado através dos mesmos acerca do tema proposto, interligando-os sintaticamente a fim de obter um conjunto de proposições e conclusões dos autores escolhidos.
