World Health Organization indicates that 5 ¢ of Brazilian children are hypertensive. Despite being considered one of the main problems of public health in Brazil and in the world, not yet many data are related to its entailment in children, this was considered as a rare event. Obese children are the group that most have high blood pressure. The risk of blood pressure reaching high values varies according to the degree of obesity, ie the risk of developing hypertension becomes greater according to the permanence of the obesity state.
