Resumo: | The present study is an integrative literature review that aims to investigate and describe the characteristics of nursing care for patients with suicidal behavior in primary health care. To compile the included articles, searches were carried out in three databases: PubMed, Scielo and VHL, using the descriptors "Nurses and nurses", "Primary Care Nursing" and "Suicide", as selected in DECS. From this search, 10 articles were selected. In the discussion of the results, four main thematic axes were identified: "Role of the primary care nurse in suicide prevention", "Challenges of the nursing team in suicide prevention", "Preventive actions against suicide" and "Continuing education as an agent of change". Subsequently, the importance of nursing professionals in preventing suicidal behavior is highlighted. |

A partir dessa busca, foram selecionados 10 artigos. Na discussão dos resultados, foram identificados quatro eixos temáticos principais: "Papel do enfermeiro da atenção primária na prevenção do suicídio", "Desafios da equipe de enfermagem na prevenção do suicídio", "Ações preventivas contra o suicídio" e "Educação continuada como agente de mudança".
