Resumo: Introduction: The Covid-19 pandemic implied several reorganizations of the work process of the Basic Health Units to guarantee access to the health service for both user chronic and respiratory symptoms. A Case Management Team was implemented to support professionals in discussing cases and managing the removal of patients classified as more serious. Objective: To report the experience of implementing the Case Management Team (EGC) to support professionals from Basic Health Units in the Northern Health Region of the Federal District in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: This is an experience report that emerges from the actions taken by the Case Management Team in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Results and discussion: From the implementation of the service, it was possible to identify the volume of transfers per month, the main causes, the origin and destination of the transfers, the type of transport, the risk classification and other important points to support dynamic diagnoses and well structured, in addition to being able to identify strengths and weaknesses of the Urgency and Emergency Network in the North Region. Conclusion: The implementation of this service, in the context of the pandemic, provided greater security for professionals and users in the transfers carried out from Primary Care to the doors of hospital emergencies and Emergency Care Units in the North Region, as well as, demonstrated the fragility of health transport.

Uma equipe de gerenciamento de casos foi implementada para apoiar os profissionais na discussão dos casos e no manejo da remoção dos usuários classificados como mais graves. Objetivo: Relatar a experiência da implantação da Equipe de Gerenciamento de Casos (EGC) para apoiar os profissionais das Unidades Básicas de Saúde da Região de Saúde Norte do Distrito Federal no contexto da pandemia da Covid-19. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato de experiência que emerge das ações desenvolvidas pela Equipe de Gerenciamento de Casos no contexto da pandemia da Covid-19.
