HOW THE NURSE AUDITOR CAN INFLUENCE THE QUALITY OF CARE

Objective: to describe the importance of the auditor nurse in the processes that subsidize the hospital collection. Methodology: this is an integrative review of the literature conducted in the databases SCIELO, LILACS and BDENF. For the construction of the guiding question, PICO strategy was used. And for the results analysis was utilized the PRISMA flowchart. The searches covered the period from 2015 to 2019, being selected the articles available in portuguese, in full and in original format. Thus, 15 articles were chosen for analysis through the narrative synthesis. Results: through the analysis of the results, was found that the professionais nurses auditors are fundamental in the hospital institution to reduce losses and maintain the quality of services provided both administrative and welfare. Conclusion: the study showed that, in this universe, the role of the nurse auditor in the analysis of hospital accounts is relevant, because the professional has a fundamental role to perform process improvement and transparency in the accounts, supporting the reports issued for quality control of the care team. It is expected that this study contributes in the visualization of the importance of the audit in nursing as being a systematic evaluation of the quality of the assistance given to the patient.
