Resumo: Objective: To identify the effects of hormone replacement with bioidentical hormones after menopause. Method: The study is based on a literary review with a qualitative approach, with publications between 2010 and 2019 indexed in the Lilacs, Scielo, and Virtual Health Library (VHL) databases, totaling XX articles. Conclusion: The topic addressed is current and of great importance to health. However, much remains to be known about hormone replacement and its effects on humans.

Método: El estudio se basa en una revisión literaria con enfoque cualitativo, con publicaciones entre 2010 y 2019 indexadas en las bases de datos Lilacs, Scielo y Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS), totalizando XX artículos. Conclusión: El tema abordado es actual y de gran importancia para la salud. Sin embargo, queda mucho por saber sobre el reemplazo hormonal y sus efectos en los seres humanos.
